The News area is really about interesting TG related things and what I or my friends have been up to recently with links and photos wherever possible.

Sparkle 2006 - kicked off on Friday though i couldnt get there until Saturday evening, just in time to catch Kims set on the main stage. Congrats to the Miss Sparkle pagent winners. A real fun time aftwards catching up with all those that I know and made lotsa new friends. The village seemed to calm down after 2 despite 5000 visitors - wow, and eventually made it back to The Place around 3 which is an excellent place to stay BTW. Sunday was really relaxing, drinks and a lazy lunch befor eheading back south. Big thanks to Becky for arranging the apartment and of course to April plus Kim and Bella for putting on a great event.

3rd June 2006 - Sita and Gill's marriage at Taurus, Manchester. I Left for Manchester with Jen and Simon and arrived late afternoon. A quick change and off to my first visit to the village. The bride and bride looked totally fabulous as was the service. It was a brilliant turnout of Chixers and friends and the weather couldn't have been better. A few drinks later and some cake then the village tour. Many thanks to you both for a day that I wont forget and have a fabulous life together - you deserve it :) - I was deeply honored to have been invited. Click for a larger picture.

Coming up in March.. I am so behind with this bit owing to way too much partying, gallery updates and all the makeup guides that are now posted - sorry :). I've got 4 months to catch up with and it's been busy so please bear with me. Cya all at TG, TX, WO or Sparkle.
11th February - Valentines Torture Garden , London. I joined Jen and Simon at their place. Went into town with Jen for food and an Acrylic transplant. Changed and shined up, a few picks of us all and then Simon generously drove us to South London and met up at Sarah Scott's place for a few drinks and another silicone spray down. Hit TG around 11 to join a little queue of lovely chatty people in the freezing cold. Once inside, down was a chillout area and above was 2 levels of sheer indulgence, great music, systems and installations. This has to be the ultimate clubbing experience, no matter what you are into, there really is something for everyone, cant beat the eye candy and everyone really does make an effort. We left around 5 and home I think around 7. Highly recommended. Will be there next month, without a doubt. Many thanks to Jen and Simon for organising things and making me feel so welcome. Thanks to Sarah as well, hope the shoes weren't too expensive. Such a shame no photos are allowed, cos' you just wouldn't believe, lol. l 2 r: Me, Simon and Jennifer
10th February - TVC Big Nite @ PPs avec un thème de fille d'école... This time I actually arrived in time tyo see the sun go down and grab a meal with mates at the Camponile. Quick upstairs to change and arrived at PPs with Mandy and Natalie. What a night to remember, I've never seen so many well turned-out School Girls and what distances some covered to get there. PPs was even busier than last month. Lovely to see so many new girls and all my friends, way too many to mention. A huge thank you to Frank (the owner), Jen and Simon for excelling themselves... again. l 2 r: Natalie, Adelle, Mandy, Claire & oestrogen 'n steak.
4th February - Headed off to London with Maria to meet Paula Cox (pic centre below )and friends at the Ristorante Venezia just round the corner from Transmission. The food was good but the service was lacking somewhat. A few minutes walk down Goswell Street and we were at TX and had a nice quiet evening in good company and a few new acquaintances. Many thanks to Paula and Maria for driving back as I had a few extra drinks, lol.

30th January - Cover girl on Repartee Magazine 51 - The truly talented TG photographer April Angell shot this great cover photo one early morning in July '05 as the sun was rising on the golden sandstone spires of Oxford. She shot a whole photo-series around Oxford and the countryside, to the interest of early morning commuters. More photos can be seen in Repartee Magazine . The full set will be posted here later in February. Thanks and sincere appreciation goes to April, Jo in AR at MAC Cosmetics, Bella and the team at Repartee. Click right cover for larger image.
28th January - Just got the sexiest little black camera (lol, as seen in January Vogue Fuji Z2) that fits in any handbag so no need to cart the large Nikons around all the time. Hoping it works as good as it looks. Does really good video as well so might start adding some mini-movies to the news this year!
13th January - TVC Big Nite Out 6 @ Pink Punters. Even more packed than previous events, the girls filled all three floors and you really couldn't move upstairs. Too many names to remember, 'cos of Deedee's mobile Vodka dispenser. left to right is Sarah Clarke, Jen, me (as the fairy), Maria, Deedee, Lucy, Simon & Jen. Thanks again Jen and Si.

7th January - Transmission & Club Subversion. The first night out of the year with Sasha and Sarah Scott. Hit TX around 11'ish as the belated New Year was being drunk in. Lots of familiar girls and new admirers. Sorry if I never got around to saying hi to all that know me, we only stayed for a short while as we were soon off to Subversion in America Square right by Way Out. Although not exactly dressed for the event (Nicole Farhi tan suede skirt and Designer Collection lace shirt), this was my first fetish night out and I can thoroughly recommend it. Hannah, Subversion's hostess really makes you feel at home and the music really works. Didnt take any pix at TX but here's a few from Subversion with kind permission from event organiser Hannah. Left to right is Denise, Sasha, Crystal, Sarah S, Hannah, me, Melanie, Crystal and Sasha's butt.

1st January - The New Year started with the tragic news of the loss of Angela Novarre. My friends that knew her and I offer our sincerest condolences to her relatives and loving partner April, all our thoughts are with you right now. We miss you Angela x.
